BUSSIN 

REALLY GOOD

If someone says that the dinner you cooked was ‘bussin’, take it as a compliment, because that’s what it is! Bussin mostly is being used on TikTok and it refers to delicious food but now anything can be ‘bussin’: a dress, a car or a song.

If you’re incredibly exceptional at programming, your friends will call you ‘the Ceo of programming’, meaning you’re the very best at it! 



CRINGE 

Embarrassing, unpleasant 

Unsettling experiences like a couple fighting publicly or you wearing something odd at school can be defined as ‘cringe’. 



DELULU

DELUSIONAL

If a person is ‘delulu’ they’re acting in a bizarre or crazy way because of a crush, fatigue or something else. 


You can also find ‘delulu’ in the slang expression ‘delulu is the solulu’ where ‘solulu’ stands for ‘solution’. 


GUCCI

Good, cool, great

If you’re planning with your friends what to do tonight and someone asks you: ‘Is it ok with you ordering a pizza’? You could answer just: ‘Yeah, it’s Gucci’.



PICK ME

A ‘pick me’ person, typically a girl, is considered to be desperate for attention and approval, especially from boys. She usually tries to be different from the other girls, in terms of what are considered traditional girly hobbies or interests. This is however considered to be done only to get noticed by guys.


SUS

Short for ‘suspicious’. 

If you’ve ever played ‘Among us’ then this abbreviation is not new to you, since it spiked in popularity after the game became all the rage in 2020. 



WHIP

Another slang word for car or stylish vehicle.

If you like hip-hop music then you might have already come across this word. Hip hop artists first used it to refer to Mercedes-Benz cars in their songs. 



WIG

Amazing, incredible, awesome

This term is usually used in order to express such an admiration for something when it’s so exciting to you that your wig might be blown off. 



YEET

To throw something out of anger
