About this course
Welcome to the planet Mercury! We are happy to see you.
Acquiring a new language is an amazing experience. It opens up so many wonderful opportunities, such as working for your dream company, understanding your favorite Tv show in the original language, exploring new cultures and meeting new people. However, we know that it can also be frustrating at times, especially in the beginning. You might feel like a child starting to speak, struggling to pronounce their first words. This might surprise you, but learning like a child is actually the most effective way to acquire a new language.
Just think about it: children don’t even realize they’re learning a language. It’s a natural process for them. They just listen a lot and repeat after their parents. This is the approach we’ll take in the Mercury course. Throughout the 40 hours, you’ll be immersed in the English world because the tutor will be speaking only in English. But don’t worry! We’ll start with baby steps. However, shouldn’t something be clear, please feel free to ask questions and don’t feel embarrassed to say you don’t understand something. This is a very important part of the learning process and you can’t skip it. And don’t be afraid of making mistakes either.
Look at it this way: the more mistakes you’re making now, the fewer you will make in the future.
After the course, you’ll be able to start a conversation in English, answer questions about yourself, place orders at a restaurant and describe what surrounds you.
However, you may not feel confident talking on the phone in English, engaging in business conversations, or sounding like a native speaker.
If that sounds good to you, then make yourself at home and let’s get started!
